Why (and how) SAVRcup gives back to our community

looking for a sponsor to give your event an eco-friendly twist?

Partner with SAVRcup!

We’re proud Californians and we love our home and community in Ocean Beach, San Diego. So when we were making serious moves about starting our eco-friendly reusable cup company, it was important to incorporate ways of giving back to the community through SAVRcup.

Thankfully, our business model is a simple one and the easiest way also happens to be quite natural—to support events we believe in through sponsorship! In the four months that have passed since the launch of SAVRcup, we’ve sponsored numerous events around the San Diego area for a myriad of organizations and causes.

Some of the events have ranged from singles events to wellness workshops to sporting tournaments. We’ve enjoyed adding an eco-friendly layer to these events. We’re excited about some upcoming sponsorships especially a very special event and cause close to our heartsthe Unite Heal + Thrive Charity Event, organized by the Carsyn Neille Foundation.

The mission of the Carsyn Nellie Foundation is to serve and contribute to the quality of life of families affected by childhood cancer through the transformation of their interior home spaces, providing them a sanctuary to heal and thrive.

The 3rd Annual Unite Heal + Thrive community fundraising event will use the proceeds to create serene rooms for families who have children with cancer so kids can get their dream room. Think extreme makeover home edition but with bedrooms!

This event and the foundation’s mission have a personal resonance because our Co-Founder Rachael’s family was once affected by childhood cancer. Rachael’s little sister battled leukemia for many years, starting at four years old, but was fortunate to beat the disease. She understands the toll childhood cancer has on families and how important it is for foundations like the Carsyn Neille Foundation to exist.

We’re always looking to partner with organizations to give back to our community, so get in touch if you’re interested in hosting a sustainable event with us!
